From Puerto Rico to the Emirates, Diana Flores and her husband, Carlos Cacho, came with a longing to Dubai, which they had previously visited in 2016, and lived in it interesting experiences and enjoyable times by touring the various tourist and archaeological sites of the city, and introducing them to the culture and customs of its people, to return and renew the covenant after six years, by visiting the global event "Expo 2020".

The enthusiasm of Diana and Carlos, whom "Emirates Today" encountered on the way back to their hotel in Dubai, does not seem diminished, despite the approaching date of their return to their country, Puerto Rico, and the approaching completion of their journey, as they affirmed that they are committed to investing the rest of the time to complete their journey that They described it as an exceptional opportunity today for them to expand their knowledge of the world around them, its future, and major challenges.

Carlos Cacho, whose curiosity to discover the world has always led him to wander with his wife between different countries, said: “We are not strangers to the Emirates, nor to Dubai, which we visited before and loved, and we resolved to return to it, and perhaps the coincidence that it hosted the largest international exhibition, is what encouraged us to Visit today.

He explained: "We spent eight days in Dubai, during which we toured a number of areas, but our greatest focus remained on the international exhibition, to which we have allocated 90% of our attention. To wander between the pavilions and take a break each time to rest and enjoy the green spaces of the place, and the various international cuisine experiences included in the exhibition.

For her part, Diana Flores said, "We had planned at the beginning of our trip, to allocate half of the vacation period, that is, four days, to discover the aspects of (Expo Dubai), but we were later surprised that the event accommodated a huge number of unprecedented experiences, events and surprises, so we rushed to allocate six full days for our exploration tours. We spent only two days, between the markets of Deira and Bur Dubai, to get some souvenirs for family and friends.”

And she continued: "Although there is still a lot to discover, we have to leave, and we feel a lot of pride in our achievements and being able to visit 140 suites in six days, as we managed with merit and with some strong will on the first day, visiting 38 suites, followed by the experience of 28 suites on the second day. And then the visits continued until we completed the most prominent pavilions, including the experiences of countries and some other various pavilions.”

She explained that among the most prominent of these pavilions are the Muslim World League, the International Expo Museum, Terra - the Sustainability Pavilion, the Pavilion for Innovators in Good, and the Women’s Pavilion, which stopped and drew her attention, with the attention devoted to “Expo Dubai” and its organizers, in the exceptional achievements of women around the world, as well as some The historical roles of Arab women I discovered inside the pavilion in several fields.

While Carlos, who works in the field of engineering and is about to retire with his pharmacist wife, explained: “We will definitely not return as we came, because (Expo Dubai) changed our lives and our view of the world around us. In addition to the beautiful memories, I and Diana carry real future plans to move in the field Serving humanitarian causes in our country immediately after retirement.

He continued, "Perhaps the unique experience of the (Creatives in Good) pavilion, with its comprehensive humanitarian and charitable content, which includes under its tent the innovations of creators who bet on their reality to turn it into a better place and enhance the elements of creativity and innovation that make a positive impact on its members is what inspired us to move forward in this field. And dedicating ourselves to serving the community that we discussed today before we return to our homeland, to start implementing it in Puerto Rico, once our career is over.”
