The UAE ambassador to Israel, Muhammad Al Khaja, said in a tweet today, Wednesday, that the two countries are looking forward to concluding the comprehensive economic partnership agreement before the end of this March.

The ambassador added that the UAE remains confident that the conclusion of the agreement "will serve as a catalyst for further economic prosperity."

When asked about the possible date for completing the agreement, the Israeli Ministry of Economy stated that the agreement is expected to be concluded "in the coming months", and the ministry did not provide further details, according to Reuters reported.

After India and Indonesia, the UAE and Israel are looking forward to concluding the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) before the end of the month.

The UAE and Israel formally normalized relations in 2020, and since that date the two sides have signed many agreements in various fields.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also visited Abu Dhabi.

Herzog had announced that the volume of Tel Aviv's trade with Abu Dhabi amounted to more than one billion dollars.

Last February, the Israeli newspaper Globes revealed that Abu Dhabi would invest $10 billion in Israeli companies.
