The National Election Commission refuted today's (9th) 20th presidential election ballot as "fake news" to some claim that the voting fields of specific candidates were coated.



In a notice distributed this morning, the National Election Commission said, "The rumor that only half of the ballot stamps are stamped because the ballot box for a specific candidate is coated on the ballot papers for the March 4-5 early voting and the current election day voting is completely groundless and fake. News," he said.



“Even if only half of the ballots are marked on the ballot, it is considered valid if it is clear that it is a regular ballot tool,” he explained.



According to the Election Commission and the police in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 6:30 am today, a middle-aged male voter protested at a polling place in Gangnam-gu, shouting, "Only half of the ballots are stamped on the ballot."



An official from the Gangnam-gu Election Commission explained, "Each person has a different power to take the voting equipment, and even if it is not completely stamped, it is a valid ticket, so there is no problem.
