The representative of the defense department said that several facts of the presence of conscripts in parts of the Russian Armed Forces that are participating in a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine were revealed.
According to him, almost all such servicemen have already been taken to Russian territory.
At the same time, Konashenkov added that a sabotage group of the Ukrainian national battalion attacked one of the units performing logistic support tasks.
“A number of servicemen, including conscripts, were captured,” he said.
According to Konashenkov, comprehensive measures are being taken to prevent the sending of conscripts to the areas of hostilities and the release of captured military personnel.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that conscripts and reservists do not participate and will not be involved in the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
