It was during a lesson on Friday afternoon in Malmö that the teacher had an outburst and started shouting at the students.

A student says that she is scared and that she wants to leave the classroom after the teacher's outburst.

Then the teacher shouts at her to stay in the classroom.

Then she locks the door.

- I was appalled and shocked like everyone else at what I saw.

This is not something we are used to, says Andreas Eriksson, rector of SFI in Malmö after seeing the film.

Watch the video to see what happened in the classroom.

He has talked to the teacher and to several of the students who were in the classroom.

- I do not know what triggered this.

The students say it just happened suddenly.

- I was appalled and shocked like everyone else at what I saw.

This is not something we are used to, says Andreas Eriksson, rector of SFI Malmö.

Taken out of service

The school has talked to the students and offered conversations with the tutor.

They will also offer interpreter assistance when the class gathers on Friday to talk about the event in the classroom.

The teacher is on sick leave and suspended from his position until further notice.

The school is investigating what happened.

They have a dialogue with the students and are concerned that the teacher should receive support and help.

The students currently have a substitute as a teacher.
