The "presidential playlists" is the new format created by Europe 1, and which you can also listen to on the Deezer platform, to better understand the major debates at the heart of the campaign.

As the first round approaches, discover a total of 10 "playlists" devoted to health, nuclear, or even hunting, with the analysis of our journalists, the opinion of experts and the proposals of the candidates gathered at the same place.

To listen to while zapping from one element to another… Or in full!

"Playlists", you are probably used to listening to them with music inside, in the form of a list of songs.

With the approach of the election to the presidency of the Republic, to "go around the question" on ten of the major debates which are at the heart of the campaign, Europe 1 has imagined a new series of "playlists", the "Europe 1 presidential playlists".

For the very first time in this format, the music is replaced by the voice of journalists, the explanations of experts and the proposals of candidates.

But the instructions remain the same: you can skip from one sound to another… Or take the time to listen to everything in order, before going to vote.

Who do we hear in the playlists?

To take stock of the programs of the various presidential candidates, all the political tendencies from left to right are present in the Europe 1 playlists. Emmanuel Macron, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Éric Zemmour, Marine Le Pen, Yannick Jadot, Valérie Pécresse: find the proposals of each camp, but also the opinions of experts and the analyzes of journalists and editorial writers specialized in Europe 1 gathered in the same sound content.

What are the topics covered?

The Europe 1 playlists offer a complete overview of the major issues of the presidential election, focusing on the main concerns expressed by future voters.

Purchasing power, number of civil servants, nuclear, immigration policy, health system, reform of inheritance rights: the objective is each time to go "around the question" thanks to a new way of telling the news and explain each point of the debate.

Where can we listen to the playlists?

Innovation imagined by Europe 1, the "presidential playlists" are available exclusively on the Europe1.fr site, the Europe 1 application as well as the listening platform Deezer (find them here), which wished to join forces with this unique project.

How long is a playlist?

For each playlist, and therefore on each theme covered, you have at your fingertips a playlist ranging from 10 to 25 minutes.

To create them, Europe 1 brought together ten sound elements of less than three minutes addressing different issues.

If you have little time to learn about a specific subject, or if you want to know the opinion of a particular candidate, you can click and zap to the content whose titles interest you the most.

If you want to "go around the question", a voice proposed by artificial intelligence will serve as a guide to listen to the playlist in its entirety, from one end to the other, according to a construction imagined by the journalists of Europe 1 and Europe 1 Studio.

How much does it cost ?

The playlists are completely free, and therefore to be consulted and re-consulted without moderation to get clear ideas on the major debates at the heart of the campaign, before making your choice before D-Day. Enjoy!
