Eight semi-trailers loaded with 350 tonnes of clothing, blankets and hygiene products.

The BTS Logistics students from the Lycée des Catalins took care of absolutely everything.

Everything will be transported to Poland and Moldova, where there are tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees who fled the war.

"It was first of all the collection of donations", explains Paul, 20 years old: "We had our collection points which were located in different barracks scattered in the Drôme. The difficulty is that we did not know the volumes since we load everything in bulk. So we had to charter different semi-trailers at the last moment. But here we are, today we are unloading."

It was then necessary to find carriers likely to make the trip to Poland and Moldova.

This part, Louane took care of it.

"The carriers were kind enough to lend their sets to be able to load all that," says Louane.

"They were super nice. And the collective work, it was great. And then above all humanity, all together and helping everyone, bringing everything we can to those who need it. It's magnificent to see it anyway! It's huge for us, but it's magnificent!"

"I'm really proud of them!" she exclaimed.

"In the reactivity, in the spontaneity. We managed a lot of unforeseen events and no one complained. Everyone played the game until the end."

The result is 8 semi-trailers filled to the brim, which will leave in the next few days from the Drôme.

The 350 tons of warm clothes and blankets will be distributed on site by an association of international firefighters.
