That the meteorological spring has come to Blekinge is not really something new.
It came already a few weeks ago, when the daily average temperature reached above zero degrees for seven straight days.
- In the sunny weather we have had in recent days, nature has begun to really wake up with both spring flowers looking ahead and animals becoming more active, says meteorologist Jannicke Hansen Geitskaret.

Lately, the spring weather has changed a lot in Blekinge.
As recently as Tuesday, the mercury in the thermometer passed over eleven degrees in Karlshamn.
- It is the highest temperature that has been measured in Blekinge so far this year, says Jannicke Hansen Geitskaret.
