In the exit poll of the 20th presidential election, it was revealed that the voting candidates differed according to region and generation.



In exit polls of SBS, KBS, and MBC, candidate Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea had a strong dominance in Honam and in their 40s, respectively, while candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, the People's Power, showed strength in Yeongnam and those in their 60s and over, showing a clear boundary line.



According to the results of the regional survey, Candidate Lee received no votes in the Honam region such as Jeonnam 83.7%, Gwangju 83.3%, and Jeonbuk 82.6%, while Candidate Yoon showed strong strength in the Yeongnam region such as Daegu 72.7%, Gyeongbuk 72.1% and Busan 57.8%.



In Seoul, Candidate Lee got 45.4%, behind Candidate Yoon with 50.9%, but Lee, expected to get 50.8% in the match, outranked Candidate Yoon with 45.6%.



By generation, Candidate Lee received 60.5% of those in their 40s and outranked Candidate Yoon with 35.4%, while in their 60s and over, Candidate Yoon prevailed over Candidate Lee with an approval rating of 67.1% and 30.8%.



It is noteworthy that the votes between men and women in their 20s are markedly different.



From the so-called 'Lee Dae-nam', that is, from men in their 20s, Candidate Yoon received 58.7% of the vote, beating Lee who got 36.3%.



However, in 'Lee Dae-nyeo', that is, women in their twenties, the opposite was observed, with Candidate Lee 58.0% and Candidate Yoon 33.8%, respectively.
