The Federal Minister for Agriculture, Regions and Tourism of the Republic of Austria, Elisabeth Kostinger, considered that “education is the mainstay to ensure the building of strong women leaders. Advocating for women and girls, and not underestimating the power of women.

During her visit to her country's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, the Austrian minister indicated that the international exhibition is a platform for exchanging ideas and establishing new links, as it is a rich experience, allowing the visitor an opportunity to roam between many countries in one place, and brings together visionaries and inspirers in an event. Kostinger explained that the Austrian pavilion at the "Expo Dubai" "comes with a unique building made of clay, an ancient material that has many benefits, in an attempt to highlight what distinguishes Austria to the countries of the world, and to emphasize that sustainability is at the heart of our country's interest."

On the bilateral relations between Austria and the UAE, she said: "There are strong ties and strong friendship between our two countries, and while we all face many challenges, we must unite efforts and cooperate more, as (Expo Dubai) creates the appropriate climate for building more strategic partnerships, especially When it comes to tackling climate change.
