Austria suspends compulsory vaccination against the corona virus.

The government decided today in the Council of Ministers, as the news agency APA reports.

The obligation for the prevailing (omicron) variant is not proportionate, said Constitutional Minister Karoline Edtstadler (ÖVP).

According to Health Minister Johannes Rauch (Greens), a new decision should be made in three months.

Actually, violations of the duty should have been punished from mid-March.
