The head of court number 7 of Collado Villalba has reopened the case of the young Jonathan Mohedano, 18, who died in May of last year after being hit by a train in Alpedrete after attending a bottle in an abandoned factory with several friends .

The magistrate thus attends to the request of the victim's mother after the presentation of a criminological report from the Balfagón & Chippirrás law firm that uncovered some uninvestigated evidence and injuries to the victim incompatible with the running over of a train.

The document pointed out that even the boy could have been attacked and left unconscious on the road before being run over and asked for the questioning of more young people drinking with the victim the afternoon of his death.

Although the judge assures that there are no rational indications of criminality against any person, it is "proper to continue with the practice of proceedings with the new elements contributed to the case" and adds that the reason that determined the provisional dismissal has disappeared, for what proceeds is the reopening of the proceedings considering that the seriousness of the fact that concerns us, in order to protect, preserve and safeguard the concurrent rights, requires exhausting the investigation phase.

Among the measures requested by the judge, he highlights that he has asked the Collado Villalba Judicial Police Team to identify several people who appear in a WhatsApp group called Liaos with various nicknames and who also belong to "those owners or users of telephone lines integrated in that WhatsApp group so that they can testify at the police headquarters and report "all of them if they were participating in the party or bottle that preceded the tragic event that concerns us and, if so, report what happened on the day of the proceedings in the line of the demonstrations already carried out”.

The members of this group made up of more than 30 young people made several enigmatic comments about the event and the judge wants to know who is behind each message.

"It is necessary, in turn,

The Civil Guard is also urged to determine the positioning of the mobile phones of those attending the bottle to "find out or determine if any of the telephone terminals of those attending the party could be close to the telephone terminal of the deceased at the exact moment of running over or winding".

Likewise, the dump of the deceased's mobile phone and the statement of his mother and the friends who accompanied him in the morning on the day of the tragic event are also requested.

In addition, it requests information from a DGT traffic camera on the A-6 that could have captured the outrage and claims ADIF for the "internal part of the incident."

It also requires the coroner to expand the autopsy report and urges her to investigate "on the compatibility of the degree of alcoholic impairment that the deceased presented with the fact that he, before the outrage, ran or walked on his own foot until reaching the point of the accident.

The criminologist and lawyer Carmen Balfagón yesterday thanked the judge for the sensitivity in pointing out the practices of the new proceedings "as stated in the report presented by the Balfagón & Chippirrás office".

"We want it to really clarify what happened with Jonathan's death and answer some enigmas that are unsolved," said the lawyer.
