Could China be a possible mediator in the conflict in Ukraine?

This was confirmed on Tuesday March 8 by Chinese President Xi Jinping, following an exchange by videoconference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron.

China ready to participate in mediation

This Tuesday, change of tone of the Chinese leader.

Xi Jinping still does not denounce the offensive launched by his Russian counterpart against his neighbor, but he offers Beijing's help.

 " alongside France and Germany in the mediation efforts to resolve the crisis.

According to the Elysee, the Chinese president has also supported the action of France and Germany for a ceasefire in Ukraine, after a meeting between the French, German and Chinese leaders.
