The Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy (EIA) raised its forecast for the average price of Brent North Sea oil in 2022 to $105.22 per barrel.

The EIA also improved its forecast for the average Brent price for next year to $88.98.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that the United States is imposing a ban on the import of Russian oil and gas.
