The 25-year-old who was shot dead on Ängö in Kalmar on Sunday night has no serious crimes.
But has on a number of occasions been convicted of drug offenses, and received treatment for drug abuse.
In 2017, he received a penalty order (daily fine) after being caught with the drug MDMA.
After this, he himself contacted the social services and received support and care for drug abuse.
Prosecuted a few weeks ago
In 2018, he was caught with a large amount of portion-packed hashish on him.
He was suspected of selling drugs, but said himself that it was for his own use.
He was sentenced in 2019 to probation for minor drug offenses.
The 25-year-old was also charged as recently as February 16 this year, on suspicion of minor drug offenses for cannabis use.
No verdict in that case ever came.
