Slow improvement: Värmland fathers take more parental days

Katarina Jakobsson visited SVT Nyheter Värmland's studio on Tuesday and told about the situation with gender equality in the county.

When it comes to men and women in managerial positions in the public sector, the distribution is largely 50/50.

Men in the majority

In the private sector, about 80 percent of managers are men.

- There is a lot left to work on, says Katarina Jakobsson.

With regard to the collection of parental days, steps are taken annually towards a more equal distribution.

But it does not go very fast.
