Ukrainian President Zelensky addressed the British Parliament online, emphasizing that he would never surrender and never defeat, and called for further sanctions on Russia.

Ukrainian President Zelensky addressed online in the House of Representatives of the United Kingdom on the 8th.

At the beginning, Prime Minister Johnson and other members of the Diet stood up and applauded.

President Zelensky said, "This war was neither started nor desired by us, but we must fight to not lose his home country of Ukraine."

He explained that in the 13 days since the invasion began, more than 50 children were killed in rocket attacks from the Russian army, and the Ukrainian people continued to be unable to obtain water.

He emphasized, "We are facing the question of whether to live or die. The answer is fixed. It is to live."

In analogy to the then Prime Minister Churchill's speech in Parliament in 1940 during World War II, "We never surrender, we never defeat. We fight in the sea, fight in the air, and the country at all costs. We will continue to fight for, "and called on the United Kingdom and the international community to further strengthen sanctions against Russia.
