When the symptoms were at their worst, it was hard for sisters Molly and Nora Hedin.

- I mostly lay in my bed, I ate dinner, lunch and breakfast there.

I felt really bad and could barely move, says Nora who still suffers from headaches and fatigue.

Today, she receives medication that relieves the symptoms, but Jenny Hedin believes that it took too long before the daughters received help.

- If you had put this in earlier, our children would not have missed so much of their lives and perhaps not had to suffer as much as they actually did when they had a relapse, says Jenny Hedin.

There is currently no specific treatment for postcovid.

Patients are treated individually with everything from physiotherapy to various drugs.

- Since we do not have any specific treatment for postcovid so it is completely understandable that you feel dissatisfaction with it, says Olof Herrting who is chief physician in pediatric infections at the postcovid clinic at Astrid Lindgren's children's hospital.
