The National Election Commission held an emergency plenary session today (7th) and said that in the main voting for the 20th presidential election, Corona 19 confirmed and quarantined people decided to vote by putting paper directly into the ballot box just like general voters.
Instead, between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, after the closing time for ordinary voters to vote, all ordinary voters have to leave the polling place and cast their votes.
Temporary outing permission must be obtained from the quarantine authorities in advance.
The National Election Commission added, "If general voters do not finish voting by 6 pm, you can wait in a separate place outside the polling place, where the circulation is separated from general voters, and vote after all general voters have left."
At a briefing, the National Election Commission apologized for the controversy over the poor management of advance voting for confirmed and quarantined people.
The National Election Commission said, "We apologize for causing confusion and inconvenience to the people."
