More than 1.7 million people have fled the war in Ukraine, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Several refugees are already in Sweden and the county administrative board will now make an inventory to get a picture of the situation in the county.

- Many municipalities wonder if they see any forecast about the number of refugees and how to coordinate the involvement of civil society, she says.

The County Administrative Board is currently working to disseminate information and it is noticeable that many from civil society want to help.

- Organizations, associations and people from the public get in touch.

We are in the process of planning an information meeting together with civil society in this now, says Alina Treijner.
