according to information from

Wired.

Kytch specializes in creating a small device to repair McDonald's famous ice cream machines.

The device would intercept internal communications and send them to a platform to be able to troubleshoot the machines remotely.

But the start-up claims that the American company asked franchisees, in November 2020, to remove these devices from their machines at McFlurry.

Kytch accuses McDonald's, and vice versa

Kytch claims to have evidence.

These are emails sent by McDonald's, in which the fast-food giant accuses the start-up of violating the guarantees of the ice cream machines and of intercepting their "confidential information".

The fast food chain would also argue that the device provided by Kytch threatens safety and can lead to "serious injuries".

Information completely denied by the small start-up, which denounces defamation on the part of the American company.

According to her, McDonald's would have deliberately denigrated her to promote a new ice cream machine, created by Taylor, her longtime partner.

Kytch also accuses Taylor of stealing his trade secrets in order to copy his device.
