• War in Ukraine Lviv, the lung of the Ukrainian resistance

Every day that Russia does not win the war is a victory for Ukraine.

It's been 13 days and there is no near end in sight.

That is the feeling of thousands of civilians who today tried in vain to get on a train to escape from Kharkov, the second largest city in the country, subjected to bombardment and with entire neighborhoods already crushed by Russian artillery.

They don't think this is going to end tomorrow and they come out with just enough to avoid getting caught in the Russian clamp.

Meanwhile, the residents of the port city of Mariupol experienced another day of uncertainty, precariousness and death.

The prospect of the humanitarian corridors being bombed again, their only way out of the siege, is fading.

Ukraine today rejected the Russian formula: of the six proposed corridors, four end up in Russian or Belarusian territory, the old script of the Syrian war, now applied in Kiev, Nicolayev, Kharkov, Sumi or the aforementioned Mariupol.

Another hot zone is Odessa.

Today, President Zelenski, communicating again with his green military shirt, warned of the imminent bombardment that is looming, from Russian warships, on the coastal city without Ukraine being able to oppose even a single patrol boat to defend itself.

"It will be a historic crime

," said the president.

Ukraine's Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said Russia was preparing for the second wave of a large-scale offensive and

was not giving up hope of taking Kiev

.

In the most touristic streets, barricades with metal hedgehogs have been set up to prevent the penetration of tanks.

Thousands of Ukrainians, some almost children, prepare to defend Odessa.

However, the seizure of the great capitals chokes Russia, which bleeds for every meter it conquers.

Today the resistance received 17,000 anti-tank missiles and as many anti-aircraft missiles

that will make the Russian advance even more difficult.

According to open source analysts, who geolocate and verify the veracity of each video published these days by the Ukrainians, the Russians have lost a minimum of 120 tanks, 79 armored personnel carriers, 49 self-propelled guns, 255 trucks, 10 fighters, 10 helicopters... The data on Russian deaths offered by the Ukrainians exceeds 11,000 and must be taken with a grain of salt, but even if they are only 25%, they already represent a considerable amount.

Moscow does not give casualty figures of its own

.

The Ukrainian population, through Telegram channels and WhatsApp groups, share their hopes that one of the diplomatic channels that are still open will stop the meat grinder.

The foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine, Lavrov and Kuleba, agreed to meet in Turkey at Erdogan's request.

They see fewer chances for the talks being held in Belarus as there is no neutral arbitrator, but everyone pointed out today that Russia's demands are softened and they no longer talk about the resignation of Zelensky and his government, but about a constitutional change that eliminates the possibility of Ukraine joining the EU.

This change in the pretensions of the Kremlin is interpreted here as a consequence of the fierce Ukrainian resistance.

In any case, the bleeding of civilians continues.

Kadyrov's Chechen troops shot dead the occupants of several cars trying to escape from Zaporizhia while the siege on Kiev continues unabated.

Taking advantage of this, newly created organizations such as

We are Ukraine

have designed an application in just two days to monitor the needs of the population in Ukrainian cities and send what is necessary there using the trucks of the national postal service.

The entire Ukrainian society, from the administration to private companies, collaborates 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the war effort.

"Political parties and the difference between liberal workers or civil servants have ended

," says Alina, one of those responsible for this aid distribution foundation.

The interior roads are filling up with kilometer-long columns of vehicles with families fleeing from Kharkov, Irpin, Odessa, Boucha, Nicolayeb... The destination is Lviv, the last stop before the European Union.

There is no longer room for a gap in the city, which suffers from major traffic jams.

There are already a million displaced people in the so-called "Paris of the East".

There are no cigarettes and gasoline is rationed

.

The playpen is imposed on the ATMs and it is difficult to find a bottle of milk or a bag of pasta, but the Ukrainian state has not collapsed and that is bad news for Putin.

Morale continues to be high.
