The outdoor warning and the signal Important message, also called Hesa ​​Fredrik, is a warning system used in the event of accidents, serious incidents and disturbances in important societal functions.

On Monday, one of the four annual tests was performed.

In Uppsala, the testing is conducted every other time by Uppsala Fire Brigade and SOS Alarm.

This time it was SOS Alarm that was responsible for the testing and it was managed centrally from Stockholm.

Uppsala Fire Brigade maintains the warning hoses and the system.
