They will finally be twelve candidates to have a ballot in their name, on April 10, during the first round of the presidential election.

The Constitutional Council unveiled, Monday, March 7, the official list of candidates who obtained their 500 sponsorships of elected officials necessary to enter the race for the Élysée.

Voters will therefore have the choice between Nathalie Arthaud (Workers' struggle), Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (Debout la France), Anne Hidalgo (Socialist Party), Yannick Jadot (Europe Écologie-Les Verts), Jean Lassalle (Let's resist!), Marine Le Pen (National Rally), Emmanuel Macron (La République en Marche), Jean-Luc Mélenchon (La France insoumise), Valérie Pécresse (Les Républicains), Philippe Poutou (New Anti-Capitalist Party), Fabien Roussel (Communist Party) and Éric Zemmour ( reconquest!).

It now remains a little over a month for them to convince.

>> To see: Who are the candidates for the presidential election?

To the eleven names already known at the last count published on March 3 was added, on Monday, that of Philippe Poutou.

The NPA candidate, already present in 2012 and 2017 and who still lacked 61 signatures on Thursday evening, finally managed to obtain them in extremis.
