Kenneth Edström was involved in starting Missing People in the area in 2013. After a while, he started collaborating with a person whose dog had been trained to find dead bodies.

- I helped locate a number of dead people.

I thought it was so fascinating with the dog's ability that I got one myself, he tells SVT Nyheter Väst.

Searched on my own

On his own, he started searching the Forshall area in Grästorp to try to find the young woman who had disappeared.

Zigge then marked from the shoreline in a couple of places, which made his master understand approximately in which area the woman could be.

Kenneth Edström already had contact with a diver in Lidköping and asked if he could help with a boat.

No problem.

- Previously, it had not been possible to drive there by boat, but now the current had calmed down so much that it was possible, says Kenneth Edström.

Barked violently

Divers accompanied him in the boat and the second time they were out, the body was found.

Zigge had then marked by barking violently and hitting with one paw against Kenneth Edström's arm.

- I told the divers to start from that place but search ten to fifteen meters up, considering the current.

Shortly afterwards, the divers hit right.

The police say that the report and other things are completely in line with the missing woman, but are waiting for information from the Forensic Medicine Agency to be able to establish this.

Good to get answers

The family has been informed that it is probably the missing person who has been found.

- I have located around twenty people in water.

And in the midst of the grief, relatives are also relieved to have received an answer, says Kenneth Edström.

According to him, the woman would probably never have been found if she had not been met now.

- It depends on how she was found, but I can not go into any details there given the police investigation, he says.
