“The investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg initiated a criminal case against a 26-year-old local resident on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art.
318 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Use of violence against a representative of the authorities),” the message says.
According to the investigation, during an unauthorized rally in the Admiralteisky district of St. Petersburg on March 6, a local resident born in 1995 pushed a police officer with his hands during the arrest.
Earlier it became known that during an illegal action in St. Petersburg there was an attack on law enforcement officers.
A criminal case was initiated.
According to the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, in St. Petersburg, the number of participants in unauthorized actions amounted to approximately 1.5 thousand people, 750 of them were detained.
