The Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques: Cancellation of distancing in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque

The official spokesman for the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Hani bin Hosni Haider, explained that in line with the Ministry of Interior’s statement to stop applying the procedures for distancing in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, while continuing to oblige the wearing of a muzzle in them, that its application starting from the dawn prayer today, Sunday 3/8/1443 AH. The spokesperson stressed that this successful decision comes as a result of tireless efforts from various relevant sectors that have proven successful in confronting the Corona pandemic, through precautionary measures and preventive measures.

And he indicated the necessity of the commitment of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, including pilgrims, worshipers and visitors, to wear masks throughout their presence, and to cooperate with workers in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, who are keen on their health and safety and work to facilitate their performance of rituals and worship.

And he sent a letter of thanks to the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques for the remarkable health awareness during the last period;

In addition to their cooperation with all relevant agencies in the Two Holy Mosques, and not to be lenient in implementing what is required of them.

At the conclusion of his statement, he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince for the care and care they give to the Two Holy Mosques, noting the directives of General President Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais to intensify efforts and provide the finest services to the pilgrims of the Two Holy Mosques.
