This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
“The situation around Ukraine is being discussed,” RIA Novosti quoted Peskov as saying.
He also noted that a statement to the media following the talks is not planned.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during telephone conversations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, explained in detail the goals and objectives of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
