“The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation reports that it has not made proposals for exemption from liability for the use of unlicensed software and does not currently support them,” the ministry said in a statement.
The agency noted that it plans to discuss this issue with the Ministry of Economic Development.
As previously reported by Kommersant newspaper, the authorities are discussing the possibility of lifting liability for the use of unlicensed software "from countries that have supported the sanctions."
