Representatives from all elected parties in Hudiksvall gave short speeches for the large crowd gathered in Hudiksvall.
- Right now people are fleeing for their lives.

Peter Åkerström (KD) took his starting point from Bosse Östlin, who is pictured at the gathering place where the demonstration took place.
- I think I know what Bosse would say at this moment: never stop hugging.
"Sad"
One of the many gathered at the demonstration was Gorji, who himself has experience of escaping from war.
- It is nothing new unfortunately, sad as it is.
It is repeated over and over again, and we learn nothing, says Gorji.
After the parties gave speeches, a minute of silence was observed.
The event ended with klezmer music on accordion and balalaika.
