The National Police has arrested in Marbella the historic drug trafficker known as
'Don Carlos'

to the main
drug cartels of Medellin and Cali , in Colombia, and
60 kilograms of cocaine
have been seized
that he intended to move from Seville to Malaga.
The operation has been carried out after an
investigation that has lasted 18 months
and that began when it became known that the detainee intended to import large quantities of cocaine from South America, the Police have reported.
Once the drug was introduced in Spain - coming from Colombia and
hidden in flowers
- the agents proceeded to intervene just at the moment in which the organization intended to start the transfer to its final buyers.
The operation was carried out in a warehouse in an industrial estate, located on the outskirts of Seville, where the vehicle they intended to use to transport the drug to its final recipients was located and two people were arrested.
Subsequently, the main person in charge of the organization, known as 'Don Carlos', was arrested in Marbella.
