Politicians and activists on social media praised the decision to withdraw an academic delegation from a Kuwaiti from a conference hosted by the University of Bahrain, in protest against the participation of an Israeli delegation.
The Kuwaiti "Youth Association for Jerusalem" said - in a tweet on its official account on Twitter - "They invite us to visit our usurped land occupied by their criminal entity, and then call them academic and scientific meetings!", considering that normalization was and will remain treason.
The Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine valued the withdrawal of the academic delegation from the conference, and the movement's media spokesman, Tariq Salmi, considered that Kuwait once again recorded an authentic national position, by rejecting all forms of normalization.
The spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Hazem Qassem, praised Kuwait's honorable stances that support the Palestinian cause and represent a commitment to the established national and Islamic principles.
"Kuwaitis continue to set great examples of masculine and principled attitudes," journalist Yasser Al-Zaatrah said in a tweet on Twitter.
Tweeters saw that these positions of the Kuwaiti leadership and people are in harmony with the conscience of the nation, and are recorded in the lists of honor and pride.
On the other hand, the Association of University Professors in Palestine valued what it called "the authentic Arab position recorded by the Kuwaiti academic delegation with its withdrawal and refusal to participate in the scientific conference in which academics from the occupying state participate."
The Bahraini opposition Al-Wefaq Society said - in a tweet on Twitter - "The Islamic National Al-Wefaq Society pays tribute to the original Arab stance recorded by Kuwaiti professors with their honorable withdrawal from the crime of normalization held at the University of Bahrain."
Earlier, the College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain announced the holding of the "Middle East Conference of the Association for the Development of Colleges of Business Administration", on the second and third of this March, in the presence of a number of business schools in the Gulf countries, without referring to the participation of the Israeli delegation. in the conference.
