A Russian businessman who fled to the United States has publicly wanted Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to foreign media such as ABC on the 3rd local time, a 55-year-old businessman living in the United States Alex Konnani-hin publicly wanted Putin and offered a bounty of 1 million dollars (about 1.2 billion won).

On the 27th of last month, Konani Hin posted on SNS, "I promise to pay 1 million dollars to anyone who arrests Putin, a 'war criminal' under international law."

At the same time, a wanted poster with a picture of President Putin was released.

The poster reads, 'Catch them, life or death' and 'Vladimir Putin, the genocide'.

"As a Russian, it is my moral duty to take the lead in the 'de-Naziization' of Russia," Konani-hin said. We will support Ukrainian heroes against Putin's onslaught."

Konani Hin's post was deleted once due to a violation of the SNS company operation policy.

Then, on the 1st, Konani Hin re-posted the post without the poster photo, saying, "I do not mean that I will give you money if you assassinate Putin. Of course, if that happens, many people around the world will like it, but before that, Putin must be brought to justice." he emphasized.

In 1991, Konani Hin obtained foreign exchange trading permission from the government of Boris Yeltsin and established the Korea Exchange Bank. Since then, he has founded about 100 companies and was once called 'Russia's richest man'.

However, after being accused of embezzlement, he fled to the United States in 1999, where he lost all of his Russian assets.

According to Fortune, an American economic magazine, he is currently running 'Transparent Business', a digital business platform company based in San Francisco, California.

This is a 'news pick'.
