On June 29, 2021, a deceased person was found in connection with a fire in the terrain outside Pajala.
Two people, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s, were arrested and later arrested on suspicion of murder and arson.
They were released in October but detained again on January 21.
The man is now charged with murder, arson and gun crime and the woman is charged with aiding and abetting murder and aiding and abetting arson.
