(Express for the two sessions) Member Zhao Xiaojin talks about the construction of China's space station in 2022: the combined work of large and small robotic arms

China News Service, Beijing, March 4th (Ma Shuisha) Regarding the characteristics of the Chinese space station mission in 2022, Zhao Xiaojin, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice president of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said in Beijing that this year's Chinese space station mission, The number of on-orbit docking and separation of spacecraft will hit a new high. The complex state of the space station assembly will be difficult to manage. At the same time, the status of tasks such as module transposition, combined work of large and small robotic arms, and cargo exit will be new.

Zhao Xiaojin said that in 2022, China's manned space project will enter the construction stage of the space station, and will complete six major tasks, including Wentian experimental module, Mengtian experimental module, Shenzhou manned spacecraft and Tianzhou cargo spacecraft, and fully build the space station. It was the first time that 6 spacecraft combined flew, the first astronauts stayed for 6 months, and the first time that 2 crew members and 6 astronauts were in orbit at the same time.

Among them, the manned spacecraft will perform the return as planned, the rendezvous and docking of two ships, and the emergency rescue standby for three ships, involving a total of 4 Shenzhou spacecraft from Shenzhou 13 to Shenzhou 16.

At the same time, the ground development work of Shenzhou 17 and Shenzhou 18 will be carried out in parallel.

In addition to completing the Tianzhou-4 and Tianzhou-5 launch missions and performing their flight control missions, the cargo spacecraft system will continue to perform the Tianzhou-2 and Tianzhou-3 flight control missions and complete their deorbit controlled fall missions. At the same time, the development, production and testing of Tianzhou-6 and Tianzhou-7 will also be carried out.

Zhao Xiaojin pointed out that the annual mission has the following characteristics: first, the tasks are interlocking and highly coupled; second, the number of spacecraft docking and separation in orbit will hit a new high, the state of the space station assembly is complex, and management is difficult; third, The status of tasks such as cabin indexing, combined work of large and small robotic arms, and cargo exiting the cabin are new.
