Police confirm that the elderly couple who were hit by a car earlier on Friday are dead.
The alarm came at 2 pm and then the police, rescue service and ambulance were on site.
- The car has been seized for technical inspection to check if there has been anything wrong with the car.
The traffic accident must be investigated to understand what happened, says Evelina Olsson, the police's spokesperson.
By 5 p.m., police were ready on the scene.
No further details about how the accident happened are currently known.
The driver of the car has survived without physical injuries and is not suspected of any crime.
Relatives of the deceased have been notified.
