China News Service, Berlin, March 3. The Chinese Embassy in Germany announced on the 3rd that due to the temporary cancellation of a testing point at Frankfurt Airport, after coordination, from now on, those who have transferred from a third country via Frankfurt Airport and take direct flights to China have been vaccinated. Passengers can undergo a "double nucleic acid" test at the test point in the airport transit area at the Frankfurt Airport Hospital (Fughafenklinik in German, Medical Center in English).

The institution uses different reagents to test the two samples, which can replace the "double nucleic acid" carried out in two different testing institutions.

Please consult the testing agency or airline company for the time required for issuing the test report. If the test result is not received before boarding, please contact the testing agency or airline company directly.

The website for testing appointments is as follows:

Online booking for Lufthansa connecting passengers: www.fraport.com/lh-testing

Reservation website for connecting passengers with other airlines: www.fraport.com/de/geschaeftsfelder/betrieb/medical-center/corona-testmoeglichkeiten.html

Passengers who need to undergo a "Double Nucleic Acid" test in the transit area, please select "Angebote im Transitbereich" (Transit Area Test) to book a "Real-time-PCR Doppeltest" after entering the webpage.

If vaccinated transit passengers meet the entry requirements, they can still choose to undergo "dual nucleic acid" testing at two different testing institutions in the same consular area after entry.

Transit passengers who have not been fully vaccinated must make an appointment for a nucleic acid test and a serum IgM antibody test.

It is reported that from February 21, 2022 (inclusive), the Chinese embassy in Germany will adjust the pre-boarding test requirements for vaccinated passengers departing from/via Germany on direct flights to China.

The transition period is from February 21 to March 6.

Please refer to the following link for specific requirements: http://de.china-embassy.org/sgyw/202202/t20220218_10643168.htm

The Chinese Embassy in Germany reminds transit passengers to make an appointment for testing before coming to Germany, and do not transit in Germany without an appointment certificate to avoid being stranded.

If the nucleic acid test result is positive during transit, please isolate in strict accordance with local requirements.
