EU vehicle insurance is required for vehicles with Ukrainian license plates when entering the country.

  At present, there are the following three ports of entry to Slovakia from Ukraine, and all three ports allow entry by foot.

  1. The Vysne Nemecke allows the passage of vehicles in Ukraine with EU insurance.

  2.Ubla can allow vehicles in Ukraine that have purchased EU insurance to pass.

  3. The Velke Slemence port is only allowed to pass by foot.

  Sri Lanka has set up temporary resettlement points in towns and cities near border ports, where they can receive local Sri Lankan mobile SIM cards for free, and provide assistance with hot food, drinking water, medicines and living materials.
