After the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, his relatives and those who knew him pay tribute to him since, as do the candidates for the presidential election.

The former star presenter of the 1 p.m. news from TF1, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, died yesterday.
"Tom, Lou, Olivier and Julien's father died of lung cancer" on Wednesday afternoon, his wife Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut said, a few minutes before the first channel confirmed the journalist's disappearance.
His relatives and those who knew him have since paid tribute to him, as have the candidates for the presidential election.
Starting with Marine Le Pen, who said she was "sincerely moved to learn of the disappearance of Jean-Pierre Pernaut".
A man who, according to her, had "at heart to share with the French his passion for our lands and our traditions, his love for the beauties of our country. He was so French! We will all miss him", continued the candidate of the National rally.
