- It was very unpleasant, you did not know what would happen, says Tilde Runström Jardbring who was sitting inside a café in central Vetlanda when the incident took place.

Henrik Tvarnö, who is the chairman of the municipal board in Vetlanda, noticed that the incident affected the city's residents to varying degrees.

- It was a shock for most people at first, but it is probably very different how much it affects everyone today.

We in the municipality and the region must try to help different people in different ways based on what need there is, he says.

Security on the city streets

Most of those who SVT spoke to in Vetlanda on the anniversary say that today they do not feel any insecurity to go out on the streets of the city.

- I can understand that it can feel more for those who were affected and injured in the incident, it is a trauma that does not disappear just like that, but I feel safe here in Vetlanda today, I would say, says Inger Bomander.
