MSB has listed several points where the county administrative board needs to improve preparedness and the ability to handle a radioactive release in the county.
This includes, among other things, planning for which measures, as well as overall priorities of socially important activities, need to be taken directly in the event of a radioactive release and during the remediation work.
The County Administrative Board is also requested to have an internal training and exercise plan.
Initiated improvements before supervision
At the same time, MSB writes in its statement that the county administrative board in several areas meets the legal requirements regarding preparations to be able to handle emissions of radioactive substances.
In addition, improvement work has already begun before MSB's supervision.
