Wednesday evening, passers-by noticed in the Minimes district, in Toulouse, the presence in the back of a car of a man.
With what looks very much like a gun.
Frightened, the latter alert the police who quickly go to the scene.
On their arrival, around 10:30 p.m., the crew clearly spotted the vehicle, with a man on board lying on the rear passenger seats.
At his side, a long weapon.
When they arrest him, the police realize that it is a pellet rifle.
This 51-year-old man explains to them that he has been posted there for two days to shoot the rats that swarm in the area.
He was summoned to court on June 29 for illegal possession of a weapon and accepted while waiting for his weapon to be destroyed.
