His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was also briefed on the Control and Follow-up Center at Rashid Hospital, which is the center specialized in following up heart patients in their homes after receiving the necessary treatment in the hospital, through a set of smart devices and supplies, which monitor the patient's condition and health. His Highness continued his tour of the exhibition, where he saw the latest robot used to perform catheterization operations, at Rashid Hospital, which is considered one of the second generation robots, where His Highness listened to a cardiology consultant and Executive Director of Rashid Hospital, Dr. Fahd Baslaib, about the usefulness and function of the robot, and its importance In performing cardiac catheterization operations with high accuracy and a high safety rate.
His Highness' tour also included reviewing the latest smart technologies used by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, where he was introduced to the "Medicine's Eye" technology, the first of its kind in the region.
