Monday, around 3 p.m., police were patrolling metro D when they were surprised by the behavior of three passengers.

These young men, aged 18, 21 and 26, were passing a puppy from hand to hand.

The animal, a young bichon, seemed terrified.

The police asked these passengers to get off at the Garibaldi stop for a check.

At the same time, they received a message from the command room, informing them that a puppy had just been stolen, with various documents, from a vehicle.

It was parked on Quai de la Pêcherie (Lyon 1), and the thieves had taken advantage of the driver's temporary absence to seize its contents.

Or documents… and the poor animal.

The three individuals were taken into custody.

They had on them the documents stolen from the driver, as well as stolen checks.

One of the young men, aged 18, is a homeless person who is unfavorably known to the police.

The bichon was immediately returned to its owner.
