China News Agency, Beijing, March 2. Comprehensive news: Recently, the Chinese embassies in Hungary, Romania, Poland, and Moldova have issued relevant notices and policies to provide assistance to Chinese citizens traveling to the above-mentioned countries from Ukraine.

The Chinese Embassy in Hungary issued a notice on its WeChat public account on March 2 that the Hungarian government implemented a visa-free entry policy for third-country citizens from Ukraine, and the five land entry ports on the Hungary-Ukraine border were fully opened.

The embassy reminds Chinese citizens to prepare their Chinese passports and Ukrainian residence certificates in advance for verification by border guards.

The notice stated that Chinese citizens evacuated from Ukraine can choose to take the guaranteed vehicle arranged by the Chinese Embassy in Hungary to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, or contact the overseas Chinese community in Hungary in advance and take the free vehicle provided by them to Budapest or other cities.

Those who do not plan to travel to other cities can also register at the resettlement centers set up by the Hungarian government at border ports, and accept temporary collective housing, food and essential clothing provided by the Hungarian government.

The notice also stated that the embassy has coordinated to provide some loving hotels in the Hungarian overseas Chinese community, and Chinese citizens evacuated from Ukraine can stay for free.

The Chinese Embassy in Romania issued a notice on its official website on the evening of March 1, stating that starting from February 26, Romania has implemented visa-free transit for third-country citizens evacuated from Ukraine (can stay for 15 days), and Chinese citizens are valid with passports, etc. Travel documents can be used to enter Romania from the "Ukraine-Romania" and "Moldova-Romania" border crossings.

The embassy reminds that, considering the large number of people gathering at the border, those who plan to evacuate by land should properly arrange their itinerary, take safety and epidemic protection, and take personal safety as the top priority.

The Chinese embassy in Poland issued a notice on the WeChat public account on March 1, saying that all eight ports on the Poland-Ukraine border have been opened, and Chinese citizens in Ukraine can temporarily enter Poland without a visa (stay for 15 days).

The embassy reminds that when a vehicle with a Ukrainian license plate enters the country, it needs a driver's license, a document confirming that the vehicle is allowed to pass (registration or temporary permit), and a third-party civil liability insurance liability letter.

If the vehicle is registered abroad and the document does not expressly state that the driver has the right to use the vehicle, the driver must provide documents proving that right.

According to the notice, the Polish side has set up temporary resettlement points in towns and cities near various border ports, which can provide temporary accommodation, hot food, drinking water, basic medical assistance, and provide consultation on entry and stay policies.

The notice also stated that the embassy has set up 6 temporary contact points near the border with the overseas Chinese delegation in Poland to provide corresponding services.

The Chinese embassy in Moldova issued a notice on February 28, stating that the Moroccan side has granted temporary visa-free access to those who leave Ukraine with valid Chinese passports.

The Chinese embassy in Morocco is setting up reception stations for Chinese citizens at two customs clearance ports in Morocco to provide necessary assistance.

The Moroccan government has tents, simple toilets, and provides drinking water and food at the port.

The notice stated that after the relevant Chinese citizens enter the country, self-driving personnel can go directly to the resettlement site in Chisinau, and other personnel can take the bus prepared by the embassy at the entry point.
