(Character of the two sessions) Ling Feng, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference: The development of primary medical care is inseparable from the Internet

China News Service, Beijing, March 2 (Reporter Huang Yuqin) Located in the "Cranial Building" of Xuanwu Hospital, a landmark building outside the Second Ring Road in the southwest of Beijing, Ling Feng, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chief expert of the Department of Neurology of Xuanwu Hospital, is preparing for the upcoming National Two Sessions. Make final preparations.

"This is my last year of serving in the current CPPCC, and it is also the year I have prepared the most proposals." In an exclusive interview with a reporter from Chinanews.com, 71-year-old Ling Feng laughed loudly.

This year, the Chinese volunteer doctor sponsor has prepared 7 proposals, two of which are related to the construction of the Chinese volunteer doctor team and how to play a greater role.

Data show that since the establishment of Chinese Volunteer Doctors in 2017, more than 5,000 medical staff have registered.

Adhering to the mission of "poverty alleviation, free clinics, disaster relief, and foreign aid", they have rushed to 206 former national-level poverty-stricken counties, provided free medical treatment to more than 30,000 patients, and performed more than 100 difficult operations.

"An important part of rural revitalization lies in the improvement of the level of primary medical care. In this process, we have been thinking and working hard on how to effectively cultivate primary medical talents." Ling Feng said.

In view of this, Chinese volunteer doctors have established 192 professional workstations across the country to provide long-term assistance to local areas, so as to leave a "medical team that cannot be taken away".

At the same time, Ling Feng and her team of Chinese volunteer doctors have always believed that the Internet is an "inseparable tool" to improve the level of primary medical care because it can cross geographical restrictions.

In 2020, Lingfeng Public Welfare Foundation, together with Ali Health and others, will launch a grassroots doctor training charity project, which aims to help improve the practical clinical capabilities of county hospitals through online teaching by doctors from third-class hospitals to county-level doctors in remote areas, thereby improving the general public at the grassroots level. level of health services.

As of February 28, 2022, the above-mentioned projects have covered nearly 9,000 grassroots doctors in 412 county hospitals including Yushu Prefecture in Qinghai, Aba Prefecture in Sichuan, Weinan in Shaanxi, Lixian in Gansu, and Julu in Hebei, with a total of over 60,000 trainees.

"During grassroots research and visits, we found that, compared with county towns, many village elders, disabled people and patients with chronic diseases in underdeveloped areas need help more." Ling Feng said that in rural areas, especially in relocation sites, the above-mentioned people's rehabilitation The service demand is huge.

However, most village doctors are limited by the level of medical care, and the village clinics are not equipped with rehabilitation equipment, so it is difficult to guide patients in rehabilitation training.

Because of this, at the National Two Sessions last year, Ling Feng put forward a proposal to put "rehabilitation and health huts" in the village clinics.

The cabin is equipped with 10 kinds of rehabilitation equipment, 3 kinds of physiotherapy instruments, electrocardiograph, sphygmomanometer, smart screen projection color TV and other appliances.

At the same time, the "rehabilitation and health hut" is used to help the village doctors effectively, and the village doctors are included in the online network of seeking doctors and asking for medicine, so as to improve the level of village doctors and keep the first door to the health of the common people.

"In this process, the Internet is also very promising." Ling Feng said that through the Internet platform built by Ali Health, the health and health departments of each county can check the work progress of the village doctors, the number of people served, and supervise the assessment at any time.

At the same time, through the grass-roots doctor training public welfare project, the video courses of Chinese volunteer doctors and experts are distributed free of charge to village doctors and county hospitals in shortage of specialists.

After the proposal was put forward, it was highly valued by the relevant departments.

Ling Feng is pleased to introduce that in the past year, the "Rehabilitation and Health Huts" have been extended to 12 provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Hainan, and 100 huts have been built. Each hut has a Chinese volunteer doctor assigned to help three In 2018, he received the training of "Two Diseases in Health (Hypertension, Diabetes, Appropriate Techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Basic Rehabilitation Techniques)" to escort the villagers' basic health and rehabilitation treatment.

"The Internet plays a very important role in averaging, which is of great significance to changing the current situation of unbalanced medical resources in China." Ling Feng said.

She hopes that with the help of the Internet, the goal of establishing 100,000 to 200,000 "rehabilitation and health huts" and workstations for Chinese volunteer doctors can be achieved during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.

"In this way, the health protection of the grassroots in China can be well implemented, and the grassroots network of 'Healthy China' can be better built, and I can 'retire' in peace." Ling Feng smiled and looked forward to it. , waving his hand to draw a circle in the air in front of him.
