Örebro Municipality's lex Sarah report to Ivo referred to a serious misconduct, and involved staff failing to transfer information and disclosing information about an individual to an unauthorized person.

The municipality also conducted its own investigation into the case concerning the 97-year-old.

It showed, among other things, that in the woman's vicinity there was a person who was both a contact person and who incorrectly pretended to be a good man.

That information was documented, but the information did not reach everyone who needed to know.

Ivo announces in its decision that they will close the case without any further action.

The reasons for this are, among other things, that the home care board, according to Ivo, has fulfilled its obligation to investigate and report in accordance with the Social Services Act.

According to Ivo, the board has also taken measures to prevent something similar from happening again.

A police investigation is ongoing into the case regarding suspected murder.
