A masseur from Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) was sentenced by the Paris Court of Appeal to thirty months in prison, twelve of which were suspended on Monday, reports Le Parisien.

Two former clients had filed a complaint against him for sexual assault as part of his Chinese massage sessions.

They denounced inappropriate gestures.

He hires a private detective

Two other victims gave similar testimonies.

One of them explained that the 65-year-old masseur often touched her sex during the sessions.

According to her, the man behaved like a predator because he was insistent when she told him she wanted to stop dating.

The therapist denied the facts claiming to be the target of a "feminist cabal".

The defendant had also hired a private detective to investigate the complainants and prove his good faith.

With this conviction on appeal, he is now banned from practicing his profession and is registered in the File of perpetrators of sexual or violent offenses (Fijais).

He should appeal to the Court of Cassation, according to our colleagues.
