The driver suspected of being responsible for a fatal accident, which occurred this Saturday, February 26 in Voisins-le-Bretonneux (Yvelines), was indicted for violence with a weapon resulting in death without intention to give it.

A judicial inquiry has been opened.

This 24-year-old man is said to have fled after the fact, before surrendering to the police the next day.

He was placed under judicial supervision, reports

A dispute on the road at the origin of the accident?

According to the first elements collected by the investigators, he would have made a fish tail to two bikers.

One of them would then have gone up to his level to explain himself but the motorist would have given a swerve.

The 25-year-old victim lost control of his vehicle and hit a pole.

The police went to the home of the suspect's parents, in Bois d'Arcy, in the evening but the young man was absent.

The latter finally presented himself to the police station the next day.

He would have admitted during his hearing that he drove the car well but would have denied having had a dispute with the motorcyclist and having undertaken a dangerous maneuver.
