The percentages of principals, teachers, parents and students who agree with the "double reduction" policy are 96.8%, 92.8%, 90.5% and 96.0% respectively.

  The workload of students is effectively reduced.

The "Report" shows that more than 88% of the interviewed teachers consciously and strictly controlled the total amount of written homework, 75.3% of the interviewed students felt that the amount of homework was reduced compared with the previous semester, and 83.4% of the interviewed students were basically able to complete the written homework or complete the homework in school. After-school services are rich in content, more than 91% of the schools surveyed provide homework guidance and various interest courses.

  The "Report" pointed out that students are highly satisfied with their school life.

86.5% of the interviewed students like school life, among which, the proportions of fourth grade, sixth grade and eighth grade students who like school study and life are 90%, 88.1% and 79.9% respectively.

  At the same time, the "Report" shows that the further implementation of "double reduction" still faces challenges. For example, 74.3% of the interviewed teachers said that after the "double reduction", "the requirements for homework design are higher"; 47.2% of the teachers interviewed every week When the pure working time exceeds 40 hours, 60.3% of the teachers surveyed believe that the workload after after-school services has increased, and 70.9% of the teachers surveyed called for reducing the non-teaching burden.

  The "Report" pointed out that parents' educational expectations are high.

91.2% of the parents surveyed hope that their children can obtain a bachelor's degree or above in the future, of which 25.0% and 22.5% hope for a master's degree and a doctor's degree, respectively.

More than 50% of the students surveyed believe that too high parental expectations is the biggest source of learning stress.

  It is reported that the National Education Survey Center of the China Institute of Education and Social Development of Beijing Normal University has set up a "National 'Double Reduction' Effect Investigation Task Force", and conducted a questionnaire survey and individual interviews on the "Double Reduction" reform.

According to scientific sampling, the questionnaire survey covered 213 districts and counties and 3,564 schools in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Construction Corps, with a total of 1.689 million valid samples.
